Seven Beach Lane and its staff take privacy very seriously and with top priority.  We believe discretion and privacy are important ingredients to providing a relaxing, luxurious, and peaceful environment experience. Therefore, we appreciate your adherence to all our Privacy Policies in these guidelines and posted throughout the property. 

Consent to Use of Likeness

From time to time, Seven Beach Lane staff and photographers and videographers will be capturing events at the Hotel.  By entering and remaining at those events and areas, you consent to being photographed or otherwise recorded, and to use your likeness for commercial purposes by Seven Beach Lane. Should you prefer to remain anonymous or do not consent to your likeness being captured, please immediately let a staff member know and please position yourself away from the camera and recording taking place.  We will do everything we can to respect your privacy and accommodate your concerns.  We may also pixilate or use other methods to obscure the identity of Members or Guests who have not consented to be filmed or photographed.

Calls from Mobile Phones and Computer Use

To establish and maintain a relaxed and enjoyable environment, Members or Guests may not make or take phone calls inside Seven Beach Lane unless inside a hotel room.  Members or Guests are welcome to take phone calls outside in designated areas or on the front porch.  Phone calls are prohibited in the outside dining area and Members must step away from their table to make or take a phone call.  Texting is allowed.

Permitted Use of Devices

Texting and use of apps (excluding camera or other recording apps) on mobile phones are permitted at Seven Beach Lane.  Computer laptops and other tablet devices are permitted subject to the hours and areas as established by Management.

Audio and Video Sound Policy

Movies, videos, songs, phone calls and conference calls must be played or made using headphones in the designated areas or as allowed by Management.  Club management may at its sole discretion restrict the use of phones and computers in certain areas or during certain times of the day.  Under no circumstances should movies, videos, or songs be audible to other Members and Guests.  Phone calls and conference calls must be taken with discretion, in designated areas through the hotel as permitted by Management.

News Media and Social Media

Seven Beach Lane has a strict no-press policy for Members.  Members or Guests are not permitted to speak to the media on behalf of the Club, or about Membership, events in and activities related to the Club.  Members and Guests will be held accountable if they disclose or identify any other Members or Guests who are at the Club in any radio, television, or online news media (“News Media”) or social media including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo, or personal blogs (“Social Media”).

Confidentiality

Management and all staff Members adhere to the strictest confidentiality standards and pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning Members and Guests in the strictest confidence.  We cooperate with law enforcement investigations, court orders, and subpoenas in their requests for information that may otherwise be confidential.

Guest Adherence to Policy

Each Member is responsible for ensuring that his or her Guests are aware of the Member Privacy Policy and Rules, and their compliance with it.  Every restriction on Members is equally applicable to Guests.

Tipping

No tipping is permitted at the Club except for our valet parking attendants (when available). Service charges are included for all food and beverage service.

Private Events

Each Private Event host (“Host”) with the approval of Hotel management in charge of the Private Event, will have discretion to determine the privacy policies applicable within the confines of the Private Event venue.  Members and Guests attending a Private Event must receive the Host’s permission before recording, photographing, or videotaping.  Any publicizing of the Event in News Media or Social Media, and otherwise publicly identifying or describing the Event, the Host, or its attendees is prohibited.

Members and Guests will be held accountable if they disclose or identify any other Members or Guests who are at Seven Beach Lane in any radio, television, or online news media (“News Media”) or social media including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo or personal blogs (“Social Media”).

Any outside photographers must be approved by Hotel management in advance of the Event being held at Seven Beach Lane. Guests attending an Event at Seven Beach Lane are limited to the location of the event.  Once the event has concluded, the Guests shall not have further access to the Hotel and shall vacate the premises.

Seven Beach Lane may require outside vendors to provide evidence of insurance prior to entering the property in such limits as Seven Beach Lane may require from time to time. 

Membership Information

Each Member and Guest agrees to not make use of any list of Members, or other Members’ personal information, in a manner inconsistent with Seven Beach Lane’s purpose, culture, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.  Unauthorized distribution, selling, transferring, or otherwise making accessible Members’ or Guests’ personal information to third parties or using other Members’ or Guests’ personal information for commercial purposes, to send spam communications, or for unlawful or untoward purposes is strictly prohibited.

Trademark Rights

Members and Guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks or service marks, photographs, trade dress, other identifying information and features, or intellectual property of Seven Beach Lane (the “IP”) without obtaining the specific prior written approval of Seven Beach Lane as to the specific use.  Member(s) hereby expressly recognize that Seven Beach Lane IP is the valid, unique, and exclusive property of Seven Beach Lane, its parent, affiliates and / or subsidiaries.  Members an Guests may not product, use or create, or authorize others to produce, use or create, Seven Beach Lane IP for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, invitations and email messages) that utilize the Seven Beach Lane IP without Seven Beach Lane’s prior written consent.  A Member shall not have any ownership interest, economic interest, or any type of proprietary right in and to any property of Seven Beach Lane, whether it is real property or intangible property. 

Attire

All visitors and their Guests must dress presentably. Bathing suits are not appropriate attire inside the hotel; Members and Guests must wear street clothing or a cover-up over bathing suits.

Illegal Substances

No member or guest of a member shall use, ingest, purchase, possess or distribute illegal drugs while on Hotel premises (or attempt to do any of the same). If any of the above prove true, the Membership in question will be terminated.

Smoking Policy

All Members and their Guests are obligated to abide by Seven Beach Lane’s smoking policy then in effect and with all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. Smoking is not permitted inside the Hotel at any time. Smoking incudes vaping, cigars, cigarettes, and pipes. Seven Beach Lane reserves the right to prohibit or limit smoking in any area of the premises at any time at its sole discretion. All Members and their Guests are requested to respect the wishes of other Members and their Guests with respect to smoking and to refrain from smoking when requested to do so by another member.

Animals

No animals will be allowed at Seven Beach Lane except service dogs legally qualifying under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Disciplinary Procedures

Conduct that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Seven Beach Lane (or any part thereof) may result in suspension or expulsion of a member. Such conduct may include improper, violent or abusive behavior, the communication of information concerning the club affairs or Members or their Guests to the media, a serious or repeated failure by a member (or any of their Guests) to abide by the standards of conduct and the rules of the Club, misuse by a member of their card, or the provision by a member of materially false or misleading information when applying for Membership. An expelled member will have their Membership terminated and may not return to the Club as a guest or reapply to become a member. A refund of the expelled member’s subscription will be at the discretion of Seven Beach Lane. Any member or Members who remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to Seven Beach Lane or to Members or to Guests on the premises will be liable for the full replacement cost and to expulsion. Every member binds him/herself to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of Seven Beach Lane upon acceptance as a member. If Seven Beach Lane considers that the conduct of any member (or his or her Guests) either inside or outside of Seven Beach Lane premises is, at its sole discretion, contrary to the interests of Seven Beach Lane, it may expel the member and their Guests from Seven Beach Lane premises and/or suspend or terminate that Member’s Membership.

Amendments

Seven Beach Lane may change the rules of the club by displaying notification of the change on the club’s premises for a period of 7 days. A copy of these rules will be made available to all Members upon reasonable notice
